There are white, pink and blue-flowering
varieties of the Chaste Tree.
This small tree is valued for its ability to attract
butterflies and hummingbirds. Chaste Tree prefers a loose, well-drained soil that is dry, or on the moist side but not wet. It will tolerate sandy soil, and well-drained clay soil. The tree should be planted in full sun or light shade, and will tolerate hot weather extremely well. It is also suitable for areas that have moderate salt air exposure. |
