Grower's Notes:
Also known as Twisted Lavender Redbud, is a new variety of Redbud that is sure to attract lots of attention.

The tree is umbrella shaped with twisted branches tipping towards the ground. The reddish-purple buds open to rosy lavender-pink flowers in early spring and bloom for 2 to 3 weeks.  Leaves are heart shaped.  They emerge in the spring with reddish-purple color, changing to a dark lustrous green as they mature.  In fall they turn yellow. The 2 - 3" seed pods develop in October and usually stay on the tree adding winter interest.

This tree is a great specimen plant and perfect for a small area in the landscape.
