| Glossy Abelia enjoys fairly rich, moist,
well-drained soil in a full sun or lightly shaded
location. It has no thorns and good drought tolerance.
Plants become thin and unattractive in the shade and do
not flower. It has pink fragrant flowers spring, summer and fall.
The flowers are smaller than that of the Edward
Goucher Abelia. |
||||
| In fall and winter, the foliage turns a copper color, and the plants generally remain full. | ||||
