Grower's Notes:
An extremely floriferous plant, blooming until the arrival of cool weather. Readily accepts being pruned during the warm season, and rewards you by producing lots of flowering branches. Butterflies and hummingbirds love it.

Dormant during a mild winter. Mulch roots well. Cover with a blanket or frost-cloth when temperatures fall below 30 F for several hours. Prune to shape in spring, then watch it take off.

Its cousins include Tri-Color Cuphea and Mexican Heather.
