| A
carefree plant that flourishes in prolonged high heat and
humidity -- it should be renamed 'Houston Goddess'.
It blooms its head off all summer long in a sunny spot.
Deadheading is unnecessary as the plants are
"self-cleaning".
A tender perennial, it is dormant during a normal southeast Texas winter, and evergreen during a mild one. When frost is expected, mulch the roots well and cover the plant with a blanket or frost-cloth. Shown is Tiger Princess. When available, we also carry Hilo Princess - bicolored white and purple flowers, and White Princess. |
