Blue Daze (Evolvulus species)
A stunning combination of gray-green foliage and white-eyed blue flowers. Dense, mounded 18-inch high plants cascade from baskets, containers and garden beds, dotted by multitudes of 1-inch blooms. Drought-tolerant. Best in full sun. Pair with yellow Lantana for a brilliant color show. May perennialize if protected from frost. Once established, detests transplanting.
Cosmos (Cosmos bipinnatus)
Spectacular display of daisy like flowers ranging in color from orange to yellow pink. Its medium tall height make it a good choice for backgrounds and cut flowers. Open airy habit. Tolerates heat well. Best flower production is achieved with little fertilizer application. Avoid overwatering.
Crystal Bowl Zinnia (Zinnia angustifolia)
A most un-zinnia-like zinnia for your garden. Spreading mounds smothered with 1-inch single, chalk-white daisies with golden-orange centers. The 6 to 8-inch plants casually sprawl to fill in around neighbors or spill over containers.

This southern United States and Mexico native is immune to heat, drought, and powdery mildew. Happy in any soil but requires full sun.
